Thus passes the glory of the world is a personal blog I started in 2008 as an experiment to observe how much I would grow and change over the course of one year. Despite the blog having long since served its purpose, I still enjoy using it as an outlet for my various thoughts, writings, ramblings, and music selections.
I don’t “re-blog” anything, nor have I ever, so if you’re one of the many people who just discovered this website within the last year or so and your only purpose here involves following various “blogs” with the intention of expanding a pointless collection of photos that don’t even belong to you, I highly recommend that you don’t follow me. My posts aren’t even that interesting, anyway.
I’m not going to follow you back if I don’t know you or just because you followed me, so please don’t point it out to me when I don’t. Also, don’t assume that I’m going to follow you back just because I know you personally. If you’re anything like the people I described above, I will not follow you at all. I don’t want to see an ocean of stupid images in my dashboard. This isn’t a social networking site, so the number of followers you have is irrelevant and really shouldn’t matter to you.
Lastly, I will not leave you an anonymous question in your ask box because you’re bored and want someone to talk to. There’s already a whole website for that.
That being said, if you enjoy what I post, you may follow me if you wish.
